BatStateU Hosts Fulbright Information Session with The Philippine-American Educational Foundation

Batangas City, Philippines – Students, faculty, and university officials gathered for the Fulbright Information Session held on February 18, 2025, at the 5th Floor, Function Hall, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Environment Research Hub (STEER Hub), BatStateU – Alangilan. The event, organized in collaboration with the Philippine-American Educational Foundation (PAEF), aimed to promote international educational opportunities and scholarships.
University President Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo warmly welcomed attendees, emphasizing BatStateU’s commitment to global academic collaboration.
Key speakers included Mr. Daniel Solis, Communications and Alumni Relations Officer, and Ms. Milagros R. Tan, Program Officer, who provided an in-depth presentation on the Fulbright Programs and EducationUSA Services. They discussed scholarship opportunities, application processes, and the advantages of studying abroad.
The event was attended by BatStateU officials, STEER Hub Research Center Heads, and students and faculty from the College of Engineering and the College of Informatics and Computing Sciences (CICS). The session provided valuable insights for those aspiring for international academic and professional growth, further strengthening BatStateU’s mission of excellence and global engagement.
