Batangas State University Scholar Enhances Global Ties Through Lectures on AI & Signal Processing in France

The University of Lille organized the International Invited Speaker Scheme and hosted international scholars who delivered lectures to undergraduate students and conducted seminars for faculty members, which took place from December 6 to 16, 2024, in Lille, France.
As an invited speaker, Dr. Anton Louise P. De Ocampo shared his expertise on machine learning techniques for digital signal processing, covering topics such as discrete-time signal modeling, Fourier and time-frequency analysis, signal classification and prediction, wavelet transformations, and deep learning applications.
Dr. De Ocampo’s involvement in this program contributed significantly to the internationalization of research and education. It highlighted the commitment of Batangas State University to fostering global partnerships, promoting knowledge exchange, and enhancing institutional visibility. This engagement also provided an avenue to strengthen academic collaborations between the University of Lille and Batangas State University, aligning with the strategic goals of both institutions.
