Batangas State University, The National Engineering University, is committed to integrating an international, intercultural and global dimension in teaching, research, and extension. The enrichment gained from internationalization initiatives provides university faculty, students, and staff the chance to make a mark on the global stage, deepen their sense of global citizenship, and develop the skills needed to compete in the global knowledge economy.

Here are some of the programs where the university forges strong alliances with foreign universities and organizations as part of its internationalization agenda.
To build a more harmonious relationship with our foreign students, External Affairs Office- Central conducted “Kumustahan with Foreign Students and Orientation on the Bureau of Immigration Policies and Guidelines.”
Project PINOY aimed to promote the Filipino/ Batangas Language and culture to the international students of Batangas State University to have an in-depth knowledge on the traditions, tourist destinations and local dishes offered by Batangas Province.
Our foreign students participated in Batangas State University’s celebration of Students Day last March 19, 2019. They exhibited the products they are famous for and shared their culture by wearing traditional costumes.

Last December 11–15, 2023, Batangas State University, The National Engineering University, celebrated its 120 years of building the nation and one year of national engineering excellence. Foreign students from Pablo Borbon and Alangilan Campus joined the booth-making exhibit, showcasing the diversity among local and foreign students of the University.

Since 2018, Batangas State University, The National Engineering University, and Singapore Polytechnic have collaborated to execute the Learning Express program. Learning Express Program aimed to provide learning opportunities and community engagements through design thinking framework, workshops, prototyping, and local immersion.
Collaborating with foreign students on community projects encourages teamwork and cross-cultural understanding, leading to innovate solutions and enriching experiences for all involved.
In February 2023, Lingnan University, Hongkong engaged ten (10) Philippine Higher Education Institutions, including five (5) State Universities and Colleges (SUCs), to pilot the program on Inclusive Business (IB). Batangas State University- The National Engineering University is one of the ten (10) HEIs which participated in the IB Programme of Lingnan University, Hong Kong.
