Batangas State University Hosts Erasmus+ UNIFICATION Project Meeting

Batangas State University, The National Engineering University is a Partner Beneficiary in the UNICATION Project under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) program funded by the European Union. This initiative, which runs until November 2025, promotes international collaboration and capacity-building in higher education, with partner institutions from Portugal, France, Hungary, Cambodia, and the Philippines.

As part of Work Package 5 (National Multiplier Training in the Philippines), BatStateU hosted the UNICATION Project Meeting on April 29, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the 4th Floor, Kamagong Hall, President’s Office, Pablo Borbon Campus. The activity, co-led with the University of the Philippines, aimed to train International Relations Officers (IROs) of Philippine Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The meeting focused on international collaboration, project updates, and the exploration of future initiatives within the UNICATION Consortium.
European partners from the UNICATION Consortium who joined the meeting included Ms. Natacha Moniz from Instituto Superior Técnico (Portugal), Prof. Dr. Imre Felde and Mr. Tamás Kersánszki from Óbuda University (Hungary), and Ms. Blanca Martin and Ms. Sara Sidaoui from Université Côte d’Azur (France).
This engagement at BatStateU took place ahead of the Replication Workshop in the Philippines, held on April 30, 2025, at Microtel by Wyndham UP Technohub, also under Work Package 5.
