BatStateU, The NEU and Aboitiz Construction, Inc. Seal Partnership Through MOU Signing
Batangas State University – The National Engineering University (BatStateU-The NEU) officially entered into a strategic partnership with Aboitiz Construction, Inc. through a ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) held on May 8, 2025, at the 4th Floor, Kamagong Hall, Jose Rizal Building, BatStateU – Pablo Borbon.
The event began at 1:00 PM with an invocation followed by welcome remarks from University President Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo. Ms. Raizza L. Manuel, Senior Assistant Vice President for People and Corporate Shared Services of Aboitiz Construction, delivered a message highlighting the shared goals of both institutions in advancing opportunities for students and graduates.
The highlight of the ceremony was the presentation and signing of the MOU, which formally established the collaboration between BatStateU-The NEU and Aboitiz Construction, Inc. The partnership is expected to open new avenues for student development, industry immersion, and workforce readiness.
This collaboration underscores the university’s ongoing commitment to building industry linkages that equip students with practical knowledge and employment pathways aligned with their academic training.
