Advancing Education Through Technology: WSMU Benchmarks BatStateU’s Digital Initiatives
On February 28, 2025, Western Mindanao State University (WMSU) conducted a benchmarking visit to Batangas State University, The National Engineering University. The delegation from WMSU aimed to gain insights into BatStateU’s advancements in smart campus initiatives, as well as its Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Digital Transformation Center.
This visit aligns with WMSU’s strategic goal of becoming a “Smart Research University by 2040,” reflecting its commitment to digital transformation and innovation. By learning from BatStateU’s experiences and best practices, WMSU seeks to enhance its own initiatives in creating a smart and technology-driven campus environment.
